A key service offered by Utilities Connect is our Consultancy Package. Our considerable knowledge and experience in this area has saved our customers literally many hundreds of thousands of pounds. We question the specifications so that we ensure our customers are getting best value for money, making sure that the supplies are neither too big nor too small for their requirements. It is also good practice to ensure that there are no hidden costs that are being passed through to our customers unknowingly. We ensure that the most appropriate metering is installed and the supplies are brought on-line in the appropriate timescales. Should there not be any specification or design plans drawn up, we can also look to provide a complete service to include design and implementation so as to ensure once again that best practice is employed. Our services package include:

• Site surveys
• Translating customer requirements to UK Energy Suppliers and Distribution Network Operators
• Reporting on Wayleaves and other Civils where applicable
• Meeting with Developers regarding both spec and non-spec developments
• Diversionary works
• Processing documentation that is required by the Distribution Companies
• Advising on and arranging PFC, UPS and Voltage Optimisation
• Best practice when working on more specialist type projects such as Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Railways, and Government installations
• Secondary back up supplies including TBS (temporary builders supply) and on-site generation.
